We lived in the same barracks, Ron. I remember when i first got there, I lived upstairs but I don't think it was long. I think as some of the older guys rotated back to the states, I moved downstairs as soon as I could. I remember when MLK was killed and the riots in the states broke out, I was already downstairs. I think that was April of 68. Remember the USO in town? I think they had the first egg mcmuffins before MacDonald's, except they had ham, eggs and cheese on a hamburger bun. We used to finish our 12 hour shift at 7 and hitch a ride to town for breakfast when we didn't feel like the mess hall.

Did you guys do the midnight run from the airfield to IV Corps headquarters with classified messages? That used to be pretty hairy.
