I LIKE THAT "IF HE'S NOT TO DRUNK" i can remember helping you back to the barricks many times freddie. when i first got to nam i was stationed at vien long b company 52nd signal. we had a smapp comm-center that only had about 8 people working in it. it was a converted van set on the ground with a bunker built around it. we had thee lines that we maintained and rotated the shifts pretty well. i also had to go out in the field and repair equipment at some of the outpost. it seemed that i was in the air most the time i was sober. when the 52nd stood down we were then an outcast of the 550th. eventually only three of us were working the comcenter and it got to be pretty bad. when i first met captain schneider i wouldnt let him in as we had not received orders that he was the new co, i made no points with this man. anyway we ended up at cantho and felt like we were in heaven. plenty of people to help out, good card games, and not to many arguments. i left many friends in may of 72, that i would love to hear from, but from one of my best friends i still take his crap.
