I arrived in Can Tho in April of '70 and was there until Jun of '71. I worked at the Tandem Switch office. After reading your posts, I see we weren't the only group to pull 12 hrs., 7 days, and possibly 2 guard duties. Our perimiter included the cemetary and the POW camp. Tower 7 was the tall tower, if my memory is correct, with the metal covering the ladder. Seems this tower was always drawing fire, especially on a nice moonlit night, most of it from the prison guards. Last night I received a call from Tina McNeill, (JJ's daughter) telling me of this site. I didn't know JJ, and am envious of those who did.
