I got to Can Tho in March of 1968 and by then, the barracks had roofs on them. My first night, we were mortared and someone told me that it was 30 nights in a row. I remember seeing the shrapnel in the corrugated metal latrines. I also remember tearing the sandbagged bunker down and rebuilding it about three times while I was there. Jim
