In August of 1967 there was a painting of a zoftig, reclining nude hanging above the former bar in the front room (Porch if you will) of the 'CHEAP CHARLIE HOTEL" a/k/a 69th Villa there in Ben Xe Moi section of Can Tho. It was across the street and closer to the main drag from the MP station there.
Apparently painted by a GI prior to then, I wonder who he was, and ofter wonder where that piece of art work is today. I had a black & white photo of it but haven't come across it in a couple of years,... if I do I'll get it scanned and have it added to the web site, we need some art & culture.
