After more than 30 years and many years of chronic illness, my brain is not what it used to be. I am trying to figure out what unit my then husband Richard W. Murray could have been assigned to. He was an Army Aviator....a bird dog pilot. He went to Viet Nam in summer of 68 and in Can Tho and My Tho(?). I vividly remember him writing me about the sapper attack in Jan. 69--and how we compared what had really happened, the casualties and the amount of damaged aircraft and such to what I had read in my hometown newspaper which of course minimized the whole thing. I am also trying to get into contact with anyone who we might have been in flight school with....Ft. Stewart, GA and then Ft Rucker AL in last half of 67 and first half of 68--just trying to fill in some of the gaps the years have left behind.....thanks...and Welcome Home to all of you....
