I lived and worked in Can Tho from Dec 69 to Dec 70. I specifically lived at Hotel #3 in downtown Can Tho. We worked off-base (Binh Thuy Air Force Base). In addition to housing the USO, the compound was utilized by my group (OSI)on the 2nd Floor and Army Intelligence on the 1st Floor.
We were part of the Mekong Delta/IV Corp intelligence community. Our office also dealt with an organization down the street called "Phoenix", which really was the CIA.
I was a Sgt in the Air Force OSI. The other OSI Detachment 5010 staff members were OSI agents who all carried officer ranks. We were the "spooks". I would be interested in hearing from anyone who was there in the 1969 - 1970/1971 era.
