YES ! I know the Bank Bldg. very well. I worked there in the supply room downstairs as the Armorer. All the weapons were located in the Vault. Yes, this also was the Headquarters for the 52nd Sig. Bn. There was also a USAF Surgical Team Living up stairs on the top floor. I arrived there in mid-Jan of 68 , I have limited memory of names, but I do remember the mail clerk at HHD, his name was Gibson. The motor pool Sgt. was e-6 Minnick, E-5 Marvain, sp/4 Barnett, and I just recently got in touch with sp/4 Fred Martinez who worked in the motor pool out back of the Bank. There was a Navy Officers Club directly across from the Bank Bldg. and 3 or 4 guys from A Co. had a Band put together and played music for the Navy-Squids. The lead Singers name was Curt Colbert ,the only name I recall! The Mekong River was right next to the Bank. moosemuk@ncia.net Murph
