Just doing a little Fire Fly Duty And ran Across this Name that hit me hard kind of like a 51 cal in the tail boom.CAN THO ! I was there the night Victor charley OVER RAN THE PERIMETER and motered 5th Special Forces compound behind the Tower. We were scrambled from SOC TRANG to CAN THO because the flair ship that was there was out of service we got caught between v/c and boys in the two story barracks we had no choice but to call Bien Thouy air base and have an air strike put in on the run way. that was a sad night for all and may they rest in peace T-Bird 4
