The Bank Building was the Hq of the 52nd Sig. Bn
I worked in at. Bat. Com. during the mortar attract in 1967.
The VC hit the building with 7 direct hits mortars and recoilless rifles.
I remember telling the folks back home that the VC did not mean to mortar Can Tho, they were aiming for Vin Long biut they fell short.
