I remember it well,was working in hanger that night.heard rocket go by,didnt know what it was till later.I remember the hanger doors reverberating from the shock wave.Everybody was running around yelling "groun attack"and trying to find a weapon.I remember belly crawling the first time since basic.Once outside hanger took cover by revetment and watched burning debrie still falling from sky.The black night sky sure was bright orange for awhile.Next day we heard what happened.Went down and took pics of huey and revetment,also saw and have pics of cobra blade that was parked in front of huey,rocket passed through it.would love to post them on this site and 271 Innkeeper site but pics are slides,trying to get slide scanner soon ,maybe then I can send them to this site.
