I served in the 611th AGS Company in 72-73, and was there at the end of hostilities. We did heavy maintenance on Army aircraft, but mostly we did VNAF UH-1 transfers. There were only about 25 of us, but a bunch of NHA Contract civilians who did most all the aircraft work. This was my second tour, as I was 21 months up north with the 101ABN. Can Tho was a party in comparison. Looking over all these pictures, I remember little, except for the Air America planes and "33". I brought home a "33" mug, and it's around somewhere. Does anybody remember 611th?
