Jim, The runways @ Can Tho was 08 & 26. In other words, headings of 080 degrees and 260 degrees. When you took off on runway 08, you headed for the Bassac River. Runway 26 sent you out to the West. Binh Thuy was approx 4 mi NNW from us.
