Oops, my mistake. The beaver with the broken wing was not 37947. That was the number on the Signal unit's airplane. A mortar round landed pretty much right under the fuel tanks and burned it to the ground. I do have pictures of that. The one with a broken wing was in fact an RU-6A of the 156th. Did not get a picture of it and would like to know the tail number.
