It's amazing how little details come back to us. Norm Adams did have some kind of tatooes on his hand and he did smoke Camels, lots of them. He left the 156th and went to Japan. I think it was Osaka. I went on R&R to Japan and visited him. While we were there he got in trouble for not paying a cab driver. I think that's what it was. A major offense in Japan. I don't know what ever happened to him after that. Our hooch Sgt. was Stanton Marple. There was also a blond headed Sgt. named Dennis (Weber) I think. I'm not sure if that was his last name. Also a SSGT Johnson. I have a bunch of pictures. I'll have to root them out. You weren't there when we moved the orderly room out by the revetment area. I think that was probably later on after you left. We also moved the comm center next to the motor pool, across the street from the orderly room. That was later on too. It was in a quonset hut surrounded by a chain link fence with barb wire on top. One way in and one way out. If you didn't have a world wide badge you didn't get in.
