I served in the 18th CAC as a CH-47 Crew Chief in 1972-1973 and I have noticed a couple of errors on your pages. You discribe SP/5 James Scroggins as a Door Gunner, he was in fact a flight Engineer and had been awarded The Distingushed Flying Cross a couple of months before his aircraft was shot down over An Loc. I also read that the CH-47 aircraft we flew consisted of A,B and C Models, they were in fact all C models. If you read the history of the 147th they keft 6 aircraft in Veit Nam that are discribed as going to Various units, in fact they all went to 18th CAC. These 6 aircraft were reinforced by 3 other aircraft (all C Models) picked up grom various units.

Thank you!
