I heard it was eight aircraft in all, including two or three Cobras...but I never saw paper on it one way or another. We lost three newbies in a bunker on a birm who fell asleep and got their throats cut, and one or two Cobra pilots shot trying to get their aircraft up. Someplace there should be an after-action report (old MACV records?) which you could copy and attach.
