As I recall the earliest bird was a 1952 or 53 and was possibly tail number 067 the slick that had been down graded from a mission bird due to age. It received a medal while I was there but we hd to disguise another mission bird to accept the honor. There was something about the tail numbers 1724 and 3724. One was very early and the other much later it may have been 10 years apart - like 1952 and 1962. At any rate the youngest was dated right around 1960.
