These guys have started asking for registration and for a twelve dollar fee to give out addresses of those service members who want books, etc.
We've sent 17 boxes to Iraq and Afganistan to various Army units, mostly MI. Happy to do so since these kids have it so much rougher than we do. (As I recall the only thing we ever ran short of was beer.) We pay for the books and the shipping, but we're not going to pay to get more addresses. This started out a good thing, but now it just seems like a money making scheme.
Sad, because it's still a great idea.
