What time of the 235th are you asking?

I was with the 235th from March 1971, during the Lam Son 719 operation, to the shutdown of the company in August 1971. I was transferred to C Troop / 16 Air Cav until I returned to CONUS during the downsize in January 1972. Both organizations were top-notch, and very effective in their mission to roll back communism in that part of the world.

My role as a draftee in the Army was with avionics, and I worked in the West (flight line) shack and in the East (maintenance and supply) shack at Can Tho. My DD214 lists me as a SGT as a 35P40.

I have many photos and slide pictures of my experiences in RVN, but I haven't had time to copy or post them to the internet, yet. I hope to do so soon.

I believe in the commeraderie of us VietVets, and that we should connect. However, I'm also scarred by internet scams. For the time being, any 235th or C/16 people can respond at this site where I will prefer "Wirebundle".

Thanks for your service to America.
