Francis - Thank you for your post. It has been many years of anquish for me wondering what could have caused my retinal damage. After reading your post, I found some information on this topic on the internet and my symptoms match perfectly with O.D. on the malaria pills. This is even more significant for me as upon arrival in RVN I was admitted for an extreme density of mosquito bites on my body. More that the doc had ever seen. I was treated with large doses of ??? and like you, remember being threatened with article 15 if I didn't take the horse pills. I took them my entire time in country due to my experience with the mosquitos after having had to sleep outside with no protection for about a week at Bien Hoa and Tan Son Nhut.
