Do you remember when the VC dropped mortars and hit all three clubs on the same night? They hit the EM Club the worst, They blew up the cooling unit on the beer cooler. We had to drink eith warm beer or mixed drinks. The only mixed drinks they had for a while was Gin, and grapefruit juice as a mix. NASTY, till you got used to it. We had a C & W band come in a couple of days later, and we were buying double Gin and grapefruits and had a ball. But I still don't remember how I got back to my barracks that night. I didn't feel a thing till I stood up, and WHAM, I felt like a was hit by a brick wall. man was I drunk. Talk more later
