Laney, I had a friend, SP/5 Al Miller who was an observer with the 244th during that time frame. You may find many more contacts in a different web site: OV-1.com . It's a site dedicated to the Mohawk and contains a guestbook specific to units -- and 244th has their own book with many contacts and e-mail addresses. Good Luck!
