I served in Vietnam in the last part of 1968 Oct 7 thru May 1969,. My unit was the 54th UAC 255th, Transportation Detachment. I lived in a hotel right beside the MP station, and there was a Steam Bath right across the street. The hotel I lived in had three floors, the two bottom floors were used for housing and administration. On the third floor was the Kitchen, the Mess Hall, the Movie Room, Recreation and The Bar. Also on the third floor was a balcony overlooking the street.
I was there for such a short time, that I honestly do not remember the name of the city clearly, although Can Tho would be most likely the city. Our call sign was Big Daddy.
Anyone here from the 54th UAC 68 through the early part of 69 who can help?
