I was stationed at Binh Thuy airfield(Aug69-Aug 70). The VN Airforce was replacing our units. A Vietnam Gen. was in charge of the base. I believe we were called 6255ABS. The base, at that time, was all air force I could be wrong. I saw Navy OV-10's take off from the base. Binh Thuy Airfield was located on the opposite side of the road from the river about two miles from Village of Thot Not. I know that we had Korean roc"s, air force s.o.s. on base> I think they were TDY. I hope this helps. Thanks for serving our country.
