The photo of the pizza hut at Can Tho Army Airfield posted under the credit of Joe White looks strangley familiar. Was this once the 1969 USSF waiting room at the notheast end of the runway (near Inter-provincal LTL-27)? During 1969 the third hangar (easternmost)on the north side of the runway (midway down the PSP)was under construction. I have a photo with six Huey UH-1's parked on the flight line (would you believe that there are no revetments?). Who were these people?Anybody remember?
