Jim:

Re-file your claim to include the coronary artery disease, IF YOU WERE DIAGNOSED WITH CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE AFTER YOU WERE DIAGNOSED WITH TYPE II DIABETES. In that manner, the VA will PRESUME that the diabetes, related to Agent Orange, CAUSED OR CONTRIBUTED to the onset of coronary artery disease. They gave me a benefit 1st related to the diabetes (20% disability - $199/MONTH); once I was diagnosed with coronary artery disease, they INCREASED MY BENEFIT. (to 30% disability - $369/MONTH) (See my message under the VA discussion board). It's not much, but all of the monthly payments you will receive each month are TAX EXEMPT. For me, it will help pay for my medication expenses and the rest will help pay for my daughter's education at Penn State. Good luck, Jim.
