ActuallyI've had no problems personally with the VA, except I have to keep educating new residents and interns about the syndrome and all the possible outcomes. New residents and interns are not given ANY in-service training about the topic. As for "dragging their feet". yeah, I suspect that's so. The VA has always been a bit hostile to the whole idea of compensation for Agent Orange, Gulf War, or other diseases caused by chemical exposure and stupidly, just as we gear up for another go at Iraq they are cutting back services across the board

But a lot of posts hereare from guys who are apparently being asked to prove they were exposed. Army records are "incomplete". The link on the TV program was between diabettes II and memory loss...possibly with Alzheimer's like effects. Sometimes the memory loss shows up before the Diabettes II does. It certainlky has in my case. My long term memory of anything before the war is very sketchy.

As for Agnet Orange and Can Tho Airfield, the whole base was sprayed in 1968. Shrotly aftere that the weed problem was repleaced by another one...dust.
