What an effort! They made it look easy. And we did it with just a little over 100,000 ground troops (the other 150,000 were support personnel).(vs 500,000 during Desert Storm)
Great technology Great firepower Great stategic planning Great tactical planning All the branches of service worked together like a glove.
You've got to be proud of our military for what they accomplished. They were kicking ass and taking names!!! The showed that the Republican Guard were absolute zeros. The rest of the Arab world should take notice given that we just annihilated the most powerful Arab country in the Middle East. And made it look easy.
My only reservation is about the "competition" our soldiers faced. Somehow, I don't see the Republican Guard having the dedication, resolve, and courage of the Viet Cong and NVA. But that doesn't take away from this glorious A-S-S kicking we just inflicted!
Damn, I'm proud of these kids!
