Sounds like you were living in luxury! I knew alot of you Army guys down in Ben Xe Moi......my assignments took me all around the area.......you guys probably offended the pigs in the pig stye. Some of those guys in that section of Can Tho established a new meaning to the phrase, "excessive alcohol consumption". What stench? Excessive alcohol/excessive drug consumption can deaden the olfactory senses! I'd still like to find that punk that pissed in my jeep. He was part of the FINE people we were helping while we served in Vietnam. Fine people. They would steal your fillings if you fell asleep with your mouth open. Fine people. It always killed me when I would catch one of the girls who cleaned/washed our uniforms stealing something (they always loved Ritz crackers, M&M peanuts.....they even used to steal my underwear for Papa-sun). Their response: John-John...you number tennnnnnnnnnn!
Hey, we made it home and now 35-40 years have passed and we still think about it. Maybe we're all wacko!
