Yeah, I'm sure that our entrance off the main road was just dirt and ended at our tents. Which were close to the wire. Between the tents and the wire were the showers. Those big open rubber bladders that a truck would come by and fill with the coldest water they could find! There was an elevated guard tower close by, I spent quite a few hours there. There was also a tent setup with a small ( by today's standards ) movie screen. An NCO/command tent with a cooler full of ice, beer and soda. I think there was a large, as in tall, tent structure for the mechanics to work on our deuce and halfs. Man, what I would give to see some photos of that place so I could straighten out my memories and move on. Thanks for responding. Maybe we can sort this out soon. Take care. Russ Parker
