iwas assign to the 244th avn co. at cantho my buty was the fire station later inthe year the co move me to the flight line to run the p o l section i was driveing the 5000gals tanker of jp-4 aug67-mar69 brothers there was a lot shit happening at cantho airfield ok delta hawks the reunion will be apr 26-28 ft.rucker,ala i am planning on being there.to all of the vietnam vetsi have some information that maybe very helpful at www.ov-1mohawk.org it will answer some of the incidents around the airfield and iwasthere when the vc,s came through the arvn gate by d co.5th sp area and the night they hit the 5th sf warehouse we were call to fight that fire the vc blow up the aircraft in front of the tower i just knew they hit the fire trucks also the night the west end got hit we were fighting a fireand we were getin fired on 235th save our ass our m-16 were in the fire trucks,the buncker at the west end was the 271st area and 244th avn next to them one night had a ground attack all the guys in one of 271st bunker go kill i remember cause i was on back up do any one remember the night the 3/4 got hit going across the west end of the run way with the backup my brother stephen g. kelly KIA i have some information on agent orange sprayed in nam email is lamb445@comcast.net or 904 379-1847 i need to make contact with bruce gaylord,bob kelsey,steve barnes,john stapleton yes i can not forget the warwagon and do any one remember when the 235th avn fire truck got burn up out on the west end of the airfield.
