The real SFC is in Herbert Crescent just behind Sloane Street, London.
It was founded just after WW2 by ex-members of the British Special Operations Executive (in fact a kind of offshoot of SIS (Secret Intelligence Service). Pretty well all its members are or were Special Forces, including the WW2 American OSS which later became CIA; many Rangers, many ex- SAS, including myself and today some of the children of the old brigade to keep up the "Spirit of Resistance" as demanded by Winston Churchill in 1940 (and the "Spirit of Rebellion")- though, as you can see, the Brits have lost it now they live in a nanny state.
I fear my days are now in short supply, what happened to the 50 plus years since I wore khaki, oh where did my youth go?
God bless all SF guys, whatever nationality, chaps with the real spirit of adventure. I hope we shall all meet on the other side with a never ending supply of whatever booze you enjoyed the most.
