I crewed several times for Maj Wallace. I believe he was the Bn S-4. He did fly Easter Sunday. He took a round that day as did several others. I was supposed to relieve Col Dempsey's crew chief that day; however, they moved up the flight time and I stayed back to attend Easter church services and the regular chief flew. He was rescued.
