Since I found this web site, it's brought out alot of memories which I would like to share with you regarding events I remember during 1967 and 1968.
1967 - Pink Palace - Movies - the guy operating the projector had to wear a flak jacket and steel pot to protect himself from the guys on the balcony. The dog named 'squirrel' that was belonged to everyone. It was a sad day when he died. We buried him behind the Pink Palace.
1968 - Cantho Airfield. Initial attack by the VC in February. I don't think I slept for 5 days!
