Dan just happened to catch your articles on the site and we must have been stationed together.I was there from Dec67-Dec-68.The mortat attack you talked about is the one I thinked killed JJ(Johnson).Do you remember him and how about Stu Boaz.I have been it contact with him in fact there is a reunion planned for father's day weekend at the Viet Nam memorial in D.C. Remeber working 12 hours on and 12 hours off and the only of time was when you had guard duty.Do you remember the sand bag detail.When I first arrived the bunkers when only four foot high walls with no roof's.In fact my first night in my barracks we had a mortat attack and I remeber saying to myself this is going to be a long year.
