Joe u say u got to Cantho in 1972. I bet it had changed quite a bit from 69/70. I remember about August 69 seeing the start of construction going on, on the far side of the airfield.It was off the base, but u could see the cranes etc.Up till then it was war and boredom as usual.Over the years I had forgotten the layout and what Can tho airfield looked like. It is real nice to see the photos, it brings back a lot of memories.That gentleman Riley I think his name is , he looks kind of familiar.I will recruit my son to help send those photos I have.Joe did the special forces still have their club/bar called the ALAMO. over nnnn
