Hello Sam Been a while! Hope you had a Merry, and are getting ready for a Happy New Year. Hope your family is well. We are all great. I tripped over this site while looking for a tropo map for a place in east Tenn. Reading over the discussions here brought back a few memories, especially the Pink Palace, Thats where I ran into you if you remember, You were on Guard mount, guarding the bar or px behind the Pink Palace. Did Carprenter ever contact you? I moved from Rach Gia after Tet to Dong Tam, do you remember the outfit that we replaced? They move north somewhere. Left two short-timers with us. When we took over Dong Tam site, there were guys from all of the rest of the companys of the 52nd. Myself and another guy from Charlston SC came from Rach Gia, Finally ended up with the B co. CO at Dong Tam. I saw the Comm Tower fall, had two guys working on it, I think they may have been from the 327th not sure, they were hoisting a microwave dish up the tower, due to a week leg on the tower it began to pancake, They replaced the one with two. It all came to mind on the 9 11 towers falling. lot of memories came flooding back after finding this site, and your name.
