First: Stu and family, God bless you and I hope you are doing better and keep doing better. My brother in law who lives in Fla. had a seizure several weeks ago. Stu your situation sounds very much like my brother in laws and my best wishes to you. After posting to this discussion, a while back, Bob's sister sent me an e-mail, I believe it is self explanatory. I ask Debby if I could post it here in hopes of finding someone who knew Bob. (From Debby) I am trying to find anyone who knew Robert James "Bob" Patrick. Bob was assigned to Co B 52nd Sig Bn with the MOS 72B20. He was in Dong Tam between March '68 and March '69. He was from Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

I am trying to get pictures of Bob and any information about him from his friends who served with him in the Army. Bob was killed in an accident here in Winston-Salem where he worked in December, l979.

All of his military records and pictures have been lost over time. No one in our family remembers the names of his friends or anything about his service in the Army. I have one picture of Bob while he was in Vietnam. It was taken on January 6, l969, by his friend Keyveat Postele. I do not know how to get in touch with him.

I would like to talk to any of his friends who knew him and get copies of pictures that anyone has of Bob. If you knew Bob or know of anyone who could tell me anything about him, please respond. I am looking forward to hearing from anyone who knew Bob. It would mean so very much to all of us to talk to Bobıs friends. We want Bob's military service to be remembered in the family records.

Thank you so very much for your kind and thoughtful consideration. Any help or suggestions that you could give me are deeply appreciated more than you can ever know. God bless you.

Most Truly and Sincerely Yours,

Deborah Craven
