Riley, I did not know either of those two guys, but I got a 90 day drop, even though I had signed up for a third tour in Nam. I guess nobody was keeping score. So Can Tho actually turned out to be my ONLY permanent duty station in my 33 months in the army. I spent 25 months in Nam and 8 months in training.
