Read your report and got goose bumps all over again. I was there in Delta Company, across the road from the POW camp, hard up against the POL dump. If you remember the rounds impacting the storage tanks, and the avgas running down the road in rivers! By the grace of God, the baddies didn't use tracers into the tanks, or else a lot of us wouldn't be here today to write about it. Thanks for jogging my memory. I have some slides around here somewhere of the Cobra attacks against the VC and NVA(?) that night. As soon as Ifind them, I will post them for anyone that would like to see the Army in action.
