By the way - I have the original manifest as company clerk shipping out the 67th from Ft Campbell, Ky to New Orleans, to San Francisco, to the Phillipines, to Vung Tau on the USS Darby in December 1966. We, as members of the orginal advanced Party, met the USS Darby at the Siagon docks for un-loading and then a convoy, subject to many attacks, to Cu Chi, then to Tay Ninh. Went back to Tay Ninh in 1997 and climbed Nui Ba Dinh mountain - now a wonderful French Rst. on Top of the Mountain. ALso, attended the noon service of the Cai Dou Temple in Tay Ninh.
