TO: Joe Beben. (Major) I remember, as a medic, being on the runway with a crackerbox, picking up wounded, with a fellow by the name of Jan Johnson; fellow medics B.Hart , and B Yack, and other medics were out at the high grass on the perimeter at the end of the runway carring strechers back to where we could remove wounded. Since reading your account of events, many names have come to memory, a Capt. Chris Mc Ewen, a Capt. R. Sawyer, both surgeons, a Capt. Fox, Dentist, and many others.
