Joe,when I first found your wonderful page,I was shocked to see your mascot.I arrived in Can Tho with the 69th.Engs.to build the barracks etc.We came up from Vung tau on a navy boat.He appears to be the same puppy I carried under my flak vest on that trip.I left Can Tho on April 10,1968 by then he was everyones dog.In the beginning he would dig his own bunker for attacks.The cook on the navy boat fed him well.I now own another just like him.Bryan
