I was with the 178th Sig Co when it first got to Nam. We left from Ft Sam Houston Tx in 1962 and provided all commo for all American forces from II Corps and I Corps. We were broken down into Det. with our Co headquarters at Qui Nhon. My Det. was Det 3 stationed out of Danang we where the original troops for all sig work. The orginals departed Viet Nam in May of 1963.
