I searched on the net "daughter" AND "Vung Tau" hoping to find a message from an american soldier searching himself for his daughter born on October, 7th of 1967 from a 18 years old black vietnamese mother, and I found your message waiting for an hi and tried my chance. So, sorry if I disturb you too much. You can stop reading just now. But, if you would try to help me, and first her, we could try to gather together all your memories and the little amount of information I have about her birth. The soldier lived in Vung Tau when he meet the mother but I don't know if he was there permanently or just for rest. I am quite sure he stayed a lot there because he and the mother were together during a few months. But it was may be during non contiguous months. Apparently, at this time, he didn't want to recognize the little girl whose firstname is Vu Anh. But we are not sure he was really informed of that birth. After all these years, may be he thinks about her every day and he is ready to face the past. On her part she is now a 36 years old beautiful woman but she has no finished the path to find out her father. She misses him every day and night for 36 years and she suffers so much of this separation. So, if you remember one of your comrades who talked about his non complete paternity, you can send to me a mail. If not, we could try to communicate as well. A precision, the mother was born from a chinese mother and a french black father originated of french Caraibes. So she has a black skin with a general asiatic appearence : this is, I suppose, an easy trick to remember her. I am sure she must be beautiful when she was 18 that I understand the love affair between them. But there was a little girl, and now she became a woman, missing her father.
