Hi,

Tonight I was a little bored and I was surfing the net and I ran across your page. I saw that you were looking for Sgt. Daniel McBride who served in Vietnam 67' - 69'. After seeing your post, I called my father and asked him if he knew a Moore? He said he was good friends during basic training with a Charles Moore who happened to be one of his best friends during Basic Training.

I am 28, and when I was young we went to the Vietnam Memorial wall in DC. My dad scratched out a fallen soldiers name (with wax paper), but to this day I never knew who that was. Tonight my dad told me that the soldiers name was Charles Moore. My dad told me that after Basic, Charles Moore and my dad went seperate ways. One day when my dad was in Nam, he picked up a copy of the Stars and Stripes and he saw Charles Moore's name in the paper as a soldier who was killed. He told me it was one of the worst moments he was there.

If this is the Daniel McBride that you are looking for, shoot me an E-mail back and I can get you in touch with him. If not, then I wish you good luck in your search.

Best Regards,

Daniel J. McBride
