Wonder if the signal base is still there.I remember the rusted ship that ran aground. It was a sight as we looked down from the mountain. What a beautful place. Beach surf, long walks. Must truely be paradise today. Interesting year met nice people and had fun and a couple of close calles. I hope all the guys I served with at the !st Signal brg LL battalion south are well and doing fine. I am sure same are no longer with us. God bless there souls.I was a member of a 5 man construction team. We went all over blding primitive barracks Gen Rienzi was the commander then. My memory fades me.
