In 1988 (or 89) I went to Orange County Community College because I heard that the Moving Wall was there, and I wanted to see it. I had a bracelet that I had worn since high school; it had broken and I wanted to see if I could get another one made. I spoke with a young man there, and explained what I wanted. He said he'd check into it; would I be interested in buying another one in the meantime? He introduced me to Mrs. Masterson. She was wearing six bracelets; three on each arm. She told me about her husband's situation, and I remember being so moved that to think that 20 years later, she was still truckin' on, still trying to find something out about her husband. I DID buy a bracelet, and I still wear it whenever I'm going outside of the house. I was proud then of our guys and I still am. I wasn't wild about the war,either, but these guys were asked by their country to stand up for her, and to help another people stand up as well. And stand up for Her they did. I think about "Bat Masterson" alot; I wonder how he's doing and how his family is hanging in. I'm really glad I checked this spot. I'll continue to check in. Maybe someday someone will come along that can actually do something to bring them home - one way or another. It's the least we can do, is it not? God bless you... Pat
