all i remember cam rahn was sand was secruity police there on all tours...... sun ... lots of jets take offs ...landing..... what a place........ remember new years right at 24 00 hrs base was lit up like a roman candle.... what a nite...........nha trang ab was small base... spent a few months on non tre island could nha trang the air base, army copter base the town of nha trang with the big white budda that we could see from the top of non tre........ and da nang ab...... was a big base u.s. air force marine, navy ,and viet ( south) aviation.... rocket city......... will be going to vietnam for a visit in april. 06.....
